Greetings! Welcome to my travel blog, an European edition!

I am a Nutritional Sciences major, Physiology & Metabolism track, at UC Berkeley. I have just finished my sophomore year, and I will be spending my summer abroad at Glasgow, Scotland.

I always knew I want to study abroad, preferrably somewhere in Europe or perhaps Australia or New Zealand. Then earlier last winter, I had the fortune of discovering the UCEAP Pre-Health/Pre-Med summer program – and in Scotland! Wow, who wouldn't love that? It was perfect!

After reading the program overview, I immediately started my application. In February, I heard back from the University of Glasgow itself first, and not long after Berkeley confirmed my acceptance. I was beyond delighted.

I will be taking Functional Anatomy and Essential Genetics, satisfying not only my graduation units but also major (and future graduate school) requirements. That's... like getting three times more for the one scoop of ice cream you asked for. Yes. Win.

And so Dancing in the Clouds is born! Welcome to my first ever blog (and it's not even a food blog).

This blog will serve as a colorful memoir to what I will be seeing and experiencing in Scotland and the rest of Europe.

Embark on this journey with me if you wish, or hop on (or off) at any stop along the ride! I'll see you at my next destination!
